ELEVATE provides the essential foundation skills required to manage and lead other people. The skills learned through this program are essential for leaders and emerging leaders alike.

 

Course Info

This 7-module program gives managers the essential skills they need to help them step up to leadership by developing their mindset, delegation, motivation, time management, communication, feedback, and managing conflict. It offers a unique learning experience where leaders from a variety of industries and employers come together as a cohort to work through the program allowing them to learn from one another.

The next ELEVATE Public Program is scheduled to commence on 9 February 2024, in Port Macquarie.

The ELEVATE program is delivered in our live format, either face-to-face or virtually and consists of:

  • 7 x 2.5 hour Facilitated Workshops
  • Everything DiSC Management Profile
  • A 1:1 Coaching session to set program goals and provide accountability

Course Outline

  • Assess your opportunities to develop your leadership
  • Set your intentions for the program (fine-tuned through their personal coaching session)
  • Define what is a leadership mindset and apply it to the
    workplace

  • Gain insight and understanding of your personal management
    style through your own DiSC Management Profile
  • Learn how to recognise the different styles of people in your team
  • Build an understanding of who is on your team

  • Unpack the steps of effective delegation
  • Develop awareness of the strengths and challenges of delegation and how it can be used to inspire the performance of your team
  • Understand the teams’ needs when it comes to directing and delegating, developing and motivation.

  • Learn about the importance of aligning words, tone and body
    language to deliver a team or individual message
  • Understand the importance of holding effective team and one-on-one meetings
  • Learn and plan how to give effective feedback to individuals on your team

  • Identify and understand their High Payoff Activities (HPAs)
  • Practice strategies for effective time utilisation
  • Schedule time for planning and doing productive work
  • Implement processes for handling interruptions
  • Learn a coaching strategy for helping team members problem-solve for themselves
